ND celebration @ mye sku!

See I told you all I'd come back soon!
Today my school celebrated National Day! Until now, I still can't stop laughing about.... well... let's start from the begining shall we?
Woke up at 7 a.m.[as usual] then brushed teeth, ate breakfast.... blah blah blah and so on. Next met up with Yvonne at her house...walked to school...read storybook in da hall... and here comes da good parts!
It was time for the assembly. First we sung the National Anthem, took The Pledge, sung the School Song and then the MCs for the celebration came out talked-talked-talked then Mr. Raime showed us a powerpoint about Singapore. Next was a show. A boy, whose name was 'Ka-Po' and his sure-name was 'Sing', said that his parents called him 'ah-boii ar!' and his teachers called him 'SING KA-PO!' .[which was funny cos' it sounded like 'Singapore'] It was based on the christmas story where there was a guy who didn't like Christmas and three spirits came and taught him wad was it all about but in singaporean style. [lolx] Next was a modern dance. YiLi thought it was especially funny because some of the people looked a little bit like worms that could walk. Umm.... still not clear? Then dunnoe how to explain liaos. After that.... was a..... Malay Dance I think.... there were malay gals and guys and dancing and music. Next, an indian dance. All gals dancing and music and Leslie was especially funny![ He copied the way they danced while sitting down of cos' we were not allowed 2 stand.] Fianally!!!! THE MOST IMPORTANT PART! Sing-A-Long Session! First song was, 'My people, My Home' we had to stand up and sing it. But before that Mr Lam invited....

If you are from my school, you would know who Mr Chew is.
Then he came out in a cap and sunglasses and started to dance.[For a short while]
We sung the song, 'My people, My home' then 'there's no place I'd rather be' then 'Will You' then We are Singapore' and the most special about this year is...........

Anyway here's this year's national day gift!
A Grocery Bag! DO NOT LAUGH!
Let me take this time to tell you all something.
GLOBAL WARMING IS HERE!!!! This OUR way of help Mother Earth. So EACH and EVERYONE of you must do our part to save our planet before the animals extinction, which will eventually lead to our extinction too!
